After a successful inaugural year, applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Nike High School Grand Prix and high schools from across Canada are invited to apply to their provincial/territorial school athletic association!

On May 11, 2013, over 300 student athletes from 12 provinces and territories will gather for a track and field experience like no other. It’s a chance for high school athletes from across Canada to come together in competition, celebration, and team pride.

Male and female high school teams, selected from each provincial or territorial school sports association will take part in 10 events testing their abilities and dedication. They’ll also enjoy a weekend full of activities including fun tours of the city, educational panels, and social events.

This amazing event will take place in the University of Toronto’s Varsity Centre. Located in the heart of the city, the Varsity Track Centre features an outdoor 4,000-seat stadium, a 400 m eight-lane track, and a state-of-the-art artificial turf field. All student athletes and teacher coaches will reside on campus at the University of Toronto’s Victoria University Residences located just 10-minutes by foot from Varsity Stadium. In one amazing weekend, students, coaches and friends will gather to represent the best in high school athletics – and so much more.
