The Ontario Para Network’s Wheelchair Basketball School Program has introduced wheelchair basketball to over 100,000 students in 200+ schools since 2017. For the 2019-2020 school year we have teamed up with the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) to help make participating in our program more affordable to secondary schools across the Greater Toronto Area.

OFSAA’s ‘Try Day’ Program allows students to participate in new sports and physical activities by assisting with the funding needed to register for these programs.

Secondary schools within the GTA (Halton, Peel, Toronto, Durham & York Regions) that have registered for our Wheelchair Basketball Rental Program are eligible to apply for OFSAA’s Try Day Grant! This is a great opportunity to introduce an exciting and inclusive sport to students at an affordable cost!Once you have registered for our program, follow this link and apply for OFSAA’s Try Day Grant: https://www.ofsaa.on.ca/programs/try-day Space for the Wheelchair Basketball School Program and OFSAA’s Try Day funding is limited! Be sure to register and apply as soon as possible!
