She is a brilliant student and challenges herself by taking Level 1 and Advanced courses. Also, Holly is busy playing an essential role in our school’s musical and theater productions. Finally, Holly was named captain of many sports teams during her years at HVHS.
Angus was a captain and helped lead our fall football team to the provincial championship finals for the second year in a row. He also led our men’s basketball team to a solid season, qualifying for regionals and winning two tournaments this year. Angus has really stepped up his game this spring by joining our rugby team for the first time. His speed, strength and exceptional athletic qualities have made him a key part of our starting squad. Angus also participates in extracurricular activities in our school as the Student Sports Manager, responsible for organizing scores and helping plan other events organized by our sports department, such as mind games and tournaments. Finally, Angus is a model student who maintains a very high GPA, while facing challenges with Advanced Courses (AP).
Congratulations to both athletes and thank you coaches and staff for taking the time to recognize these amazing students.

Amherst Cove Gage Boyko for intermediate athlete of the month. Gage is a natural athlete that excels in all sports. Coming from a small school he doesn’t always get to demonstrate just how talented he is. Recently, he showed a great performance at the badminton meet, just missing provincials in both singles and doubles. He is also the quarter back and backbone of our flag football team. He will also compete in some events in track and field. Outside of school he plays AAA hockey and Baseball.
He is a coachable student and also tries to coach and help some of his team mates as well.
