Job Posting: Unified Sports Program Manager

Are you passionate about promoting inclusivity in sports and empowering students with intellectual disabilities? Join us in expanding and supporting Unified Sports programs in schools across Alberta!

As the Unified Sports Program Manager, you will lead initiatives to grow inclusive sports programs in elementary, junior high, and high schools, working with Special Olympics Alberta and the Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association (ASAA). Your role will also focus on facilitating student transitions from school sports to community-based Special Olympics programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the expansion of Unified Sports programs across Alberta.

Coordinate school-based events and ensure they align with Unified Sports principles.

Build relationships with schools, community partners, and sport organizations.

Support student transitions to local Special Olympics programs.

Track and report program growth and success.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in program/event management or sports administration.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid Alberta driver’s license and ability to travel within the province.

Compensation: Starting at $65,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
