Welcome to Smithers and Congratulations to Our Local Hosts!

The Smithers District Chamber of Commerce is proud to officially welcome all BC High School Ski & Snowboard Provincial athletes, coaches, families, and supporters to our community this week!

From March 2–4, Hudson Bay Mountain will host 220 competitors and 300+ visitors for provincials and we are thrilled to see our town step up on short notice.

A sincere congratulations and thank you to the Smithers Ski and Snowboard Club and Hudson Bay Mountain Resort for collaborating and pulling this event together so quickly. Hosting a provincial championship on short notice is no small feat, and it speaks volumes about the strength and capability of our local ski community.

To our members and local businesses: thank you for showing athletes, visitors and families the very best of Smithers hospitality.

Best of luck to all competitors – we hope you have an incredible race week!
