BC School Sports is pleased to offer this workshop for parents, community coaches, and new teacher coaches. This workshop will help prospective coaches develop NCCP’s five core competencies: problem solving, valuing, critical thinking, leading and interacting. The module covers topics such as: Canadian Sport for Life, NCCP system, coaching philosophy, community vs school sports, ethics, safety, BCSS rules and regulations, as well as school/district policies. Completion of this course provides NCCP Professional Development points for the maintenance of certification.
