Les Cavaliers gagnent la bannière du championnat provincial AA au golf

La fin de semaine dernière, les Cavaliers participaient au championnat provincial AA de golf des écoles secondaires à Hartland au N.-B. Les six membres de l’équipe ont très bien joué et ont tous contribué à la 1ère position de l’équipe.

Les officiels du tournoi ont retenu les quatre meilleurs scores de chaque équipe afin de déterminer le positionnement des huit écoles participantes.

Maxime Poirier, Mathieu Poirier et Jacob Goguen ont tous obtenus un score de 83, terminant ainsi à égalité pour la 3e position. Olivier Dallaire, qui a terminé avec un score de 80, a gagné la médaille d’or du tournoi. Le suspens a duré jusqu’au dernier trou, où il devait réussir un roulé d’environ 35 pieds pour s’assurer la première position. Avec une grande concentration, devant un public qui retenait son souffle, Olivier a réussi son coup et aidait donc son équipe à ramener la bannière provinciale à l’école Clément-Cormier.
