Notice from NSSAF Board Chair
The Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation Board of Governors has met to determine next steps for the Federation in regards to the interruption in school sport. The Board has reviewed the winter sports that are presently in season in accordance with the NSSAF Handbook and have concluded that the Regional and Provincial Championships for the following sports will not be contested for the 2016-2017 school year:
Basketball
Wrestling
Snowboarding
Skiing
Curling
Hockey
The remaining NSSAF sports for the 2016-2017 school year will resume regular programming effective immediately as per Regulation 16 of the NSSAF Handbook.
