We are excited to provide you with information for our inaugural Sitting Volleyball competition in the upcoming 2017 ParaSport Games February 10 – 12, 2017 in Brantford, ON. As we made clubs aware of previously, our hope is that our clubs will facilitate the core of teams participating in the event to provide volleyball experienced players to any newcomers that we may supplement teams with. This is an inclusive event for both able-bodied athletes and athletes with a disability. If your club team does not know of any athletes with a disability, please let us know and we will work towards finding you some.

This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a Provincial Multi Sport Games and full weekend experience of opening ceremonies, competition and camaraderie.
We are still awaiting the opening of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport’s online registration and waiver agreement to be finalized and will forward that information to those that have registered as soon as we can.
Unfortunately timelines are quite tight and we are asking people to register by Friday December 16th 2016 due to the Christmas holidays and our need to have hotel rooming lists by early January. Please contact us if you have any concerns with these timelines or have any other questions about the event.
We are hopeful that this will be the start of big things for Sitting Volleyball in Ontario!
