Hernewood wins PEISAA Intermediate A Girls Soccer League championship

The Hernewood Huskies won the P.E.I. School Athletic Association Intermediate A Girls Soccer League championship at the Terry Fox Sports Complex in Cornwall on Saturday. The Huskies picked up a 4-1 victory over the Kensington Torchettes in the gold-medal game. Jon Fradsham and Chase Bell capped their P.E.I. School Athletic Association intermediate AA soccer careers in style.

The two Grade 9 centre-midfielders have hoisted the provincial championship banner in all three of their years at the Charlottetown-based school.
