SHSAA 2016 Youth Officials Conference

The SHSAA is proud to offer the first ever Youth Officials Conference!  This Conference will provide an opportunity to high school students to explore their interests in officiating and to develop officiating skills.  It is a multi-sport conference that will offer philosophy and technical sessions relating to the SHSAA sanctioned sports (this year’s focus is on officiating Football, Soccer, Volleyball, and Basketball).  The Conference will be held on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the U of S in Saskatoon.

This is an excellent opportunity for young people with similar interests to get together in a positive environment to gain skills and knowledge in officiating.  The conference is geared towards grade 9-12 students.  All grade 9-12 participants must have a teacher supervisor for the duration of the conference.  The sessions will be active, practical, and engaging!
