Sportsmanship Award – Girls Basketball – Canora

The SHSAA was proud to present the Sportsmanship Award to the Canora Cougars Girls Basketball Team on Friday, May 31.  The presentation was made during a school assembly in front of School Division Administration, School Administration, Coaches, Teachers, Parents, and Students.  In addition to the sportsmanship award, the team also captured the silver medal at the provincial championship tournament (HOOPLA) that was hosted in March in Saskatoon.

Thank you to SaskMilk for providing milk and chocolate milk to everybody that attended the presentation and for their ongoing support of High School Athletics and Saskatchewan.

Sportsmanship Award – Boys Basketball – St. Brieux

The SHSAA was on hand during a school assembly in St. Brieux to make the presentation of the Boys Basketball Sportsmanship Award to the St. Brieux Crusaders.  Parents and community members joined with staff and students in congratulating the team.  Sask Milk once again provided milk to everyone in attendance.  Congratulations to the Crusaders and a huge thank you to coaches Trumbley and Bernhard.

Sportsmanship Award – 4A Boys Volleyball – MJ Vanier

Coach Levi Broda and the Vanier Collegiate Vikings Boys Volleyball team were presented with the SHSAA/Sask Milk Sportsmanship Award at a recent school assembly.  BJ Crosbie representing Sask Milk assisted with the presentation.  In addition to the sportsmanship award the team also captured the gold medal at the provincial championship tournament that was hosted in November by Melville Comprehensive.

Thank you to Sask Milk for once again providing free milk to the student body of a school receiving a sportsmanship award.  Congratulations to Principal Moser and the entire Vanier Collegiate community.
