SSNL Celeberating 50 years of School Sport – Can you help?

Please submit any items you have by May 31st. Please note, everyone who submits something for our collection, will be entered into a draw to win a $50 gift card, as our way of saying thanks!

The 2019/2020 school year promises to be an amazing one for School Sports NL, as we celebrate 50 years of school sports in this province! We have a number of special events in the works to celebrate this momentous occasion and to recognize where we were, where we are today and where we are going in the next 50 years!

To help showcase our past, we need your help. We are currently seeking and accepting memorabilia and photos from the past 50 years. So if you have any of the following, and are willing to donate it to us, or share photos of items, we would be thrilled.

• Photos – team photos, teams with the NLHSAF or SSNL banners, individual photos of student-athletes, game play, awards, banquets, coaches, etc.
• Videos
• Newspaper clippings or photos of clippings
• Medals
• Old Jerseys/uniforms
• Tournament items – T-shirts, buttons, pins, programs, etc.
• NLHSAF or SSNL clothing
• Other items you think we would like to highlight!

Please note, while you’re sifting through old photos, and strolling down memory lane, we weren’t always known as SSNL, we started out as the Newfoundland and Labrador High School Athletics Federation (NLHSAF) way back in 1969, so please keep this in mind when searching for memorabilia.
