Big kids hit the turf
SOMBA K’E/YELLOWKNIFE – With Diavik Junior Super Soccer over for another year, it’s now time for Diavik Senior Super Soccer and everything kicks off in Yellowknife on May 3.
A total of eight banners will be up for grabs across the U15 and U19 divisions, each with boys and girls categories and A and AA titles for each.
The community contingent consists of Inuvik, Fort Smith, Behchoko, Hay River, Lutsel K’e and Fort Resolution with Iqaluit and Whale Cove making the trip in from Nunavut. The finals for all eight divisions will happen on May 7.
