NWT Super Soccer Get Underway

Soccer a-plenty approaches

SOMBA K’E/YELLOWKNIFE – With Adult Super Soccer out of the way, the focus now turns to the scholastic version of the NWT soccer championships.
Diavik Junior Super Soccer kicks things off beginning on April 26 with the Yellowknife teams in action on the opening evening. The capital squads will be joined this year by teams from Inuvik, Behchoko, Lutsel K’e, Hay River and Fort Smith from the NWT along with Kugluktuk, Rankin Inlet and Coral Harbour from Nunavut and Haines Junction from Yukon.

A total of six banners will be up for grabs in the Grade 6, 7 and 8 divisions with boys and girls categories for each.
