NWTSAF Spike It Volleyball Championships

SOMBA K’E/YELLOWKNIFE – With the Lawrie Hobart Memorial Volleyball Tournament in the books, the scholastic volleyball focus now turns to Junior Spike It!

The first of the NWT school volleyball championships will begin on Oct. 27 in Yellowknife and there will be plenty of teams entered in the six divisions of play. Along with Yellowknife, there are teams from Behchoko, Hay River, Fort Resolution, Fort Smith, Fort Simpson and Inuvik making the trip in.

When Porter Creek Secondary hosts the Super Volley semifinals on Nov. 3, there won’t be a team from that school playing in either game. Both the Porter Creek Rams senior boys and senior girls placed first in the regular season

Action will continue all weekend long with the finals for all divisions happening on Oct. 30.
