Sportsmanship Award – Boys Basketball

Principal Ronelda McCallum from Twin Lakes Community School in Buffalo Narrows welcomed staff, students, family, and friends to a school assembly acknowledging the boys basketball team as a recipient of the SHSAA/Sask Milk Sportsmanship Award.  The team was nominated by Davidson School who had competed against the Eagles this past basketball season including the regional final that was hosted by Twin Lakes on March 17.  NLSD Superintendent Barry Kimbley was on hand as was Board Member Ray Laliberte and SCC chairperson Ronda Williams.

Congratulations to the team and coach David Wells on well deserved recognition.  Thank you to Sask Milk for their continued support of SHSAA and the Sportsmanship Award.

Sportsmanship Award – Boys Basketball

SHSAA was proud to present the Boys Basketball Sportsmanship Award to the Regina Winston Knoll Wolverines at a school Pep Rally on May 16.   SRC Leaders introduced the team, including coach Mike Silvius, to the student body to celebrate the accomplishment.

Thank you to Saskatchewan Milk Marketing Board for providing milk to all those that attended the presentation and for their continued support of High School Athletics in Saskatchewan.

Sportsmanship Award – Girls Basketball

SHSAA was proud to present the Girls Basketball Sportsmanship Award to the Asquith/Perdue Athletics.   Principal Greunding introduced the team members including coaches Quittenbaum and Kielstra during the school assembly held on May 1.  The celebration in front of parents and students, included words of congratulations from the Prairie Spirit School Division Board Chair, the Mayor of Asquith, Principal Greunding of Lord Asquith School, Principal Chilibeck of Perdue School, and the Sask Milk representative.

Thank you to Saskatchewan Milk Marketing Board for providing milk to all those that attended the presentation and for their continued support of High School Athletics in Saskatchewan.
